they did not update the macbook pros the only added extra build to order options

Do you really need those signs?! You've already got one of the best :apple: portables out there, so be happy with what you've got. Personally I rarely use any of the F buttons. I use the corners of the screen and the mighty mouse wireless to perform those functions.

P.S. Congrats on your purchase :D

thanks for the replies, but im not sure im happy with it, i also have a new 24" imac and a white macbook, both have no problems with leopard whereas my mbp suffers from a few of the know issues at the mo.

im also finding the battery life annoying and the heat of this thing is crazy :S

im tempted to just take it back and get another macbook but black this time..

someone convince me not too ;)

I have the 2.33 15" MBP, best computer buy of my life. I have had two other laptops and various desktops, and i'll never go back, even though I run my MBP through a cinema display. Stick with your new MBP!!!

just curious. why do you need another notebook if you already have a MacBook?

more money than sence senario...plus i gave my macbook to my wife when i bought the mbp and i cant really take it off her now?

ok thanks all im convinced to keep the thing, as it hasnt been updated(not until jan anyways?)

i think i would miss the illuminated keybaord too much ;)
