DUH! Install software from his laptop to his iPhone!
I'm kidding, really.
Actually, to the best of my knowledge you cannot install applications from your computer to your iPhone. You would make use of the Wifi in the iPhone and install apps that way, but then again I believe you have to jailbreak the phone before any of that can even happen.
thanks for the "just kidding" part-- people have been nasty on a lot of the forums i have seen lately-- nice to see someone with a sense of humor!
