Parallels Desktop 3.0 for Mac includes the following new features and feature improvements:
• Coherence 3.0 - Run your Windows and Mac OS X applications in single integrated
environment

o Each Windows application window opens as a separate Mac window
o Correct Z-order support for all windows
o Expose support
o Mac-style drop shadow support (foreground window has deeper shadow)
o Transparent windows support
o Silent boot in Coherence mode when clicking on virtual machine alias​

• Multi-user support - Share your virtual machines with other Mac OS X users
• Empty Windows Recycle Bin - Empty Windows recylcle bin directly from the
Application menu
• Show Windows Desktop - Show Windows desktop in Coherence mode directly from the
Application menu
• Configurable Sound - Allows you to use headset within virtual machine with highest
sound quality
• Boot Camp compatible key mapping - Boot Camp key combinations substitute specific
Windows keys like Insert, Print Screen and so on
• Virtual keyboard – send key combinations to virtual machine in one click
• Apple iPhone support - synchronize contacts, scheduler, mail and media between your
Windows virtual machine and your iPhone
• Parallels Transporter - Migrate your Linux PC to a Parallels virtual machine

They are sub-bullets. The hollow bullets refer to Coherence, Parallels Explorer and Parallels Image Tool respectively. It's just clearer punctuation.

after VMWare's IPO, they'll have enough to buy parallels and then we wont have to worry about using one or the other.

And the result, slower product advances. Better hope parallels stays around and separate....competition is a gooood thing in the software industry.

If it were not for Fusion, you really think Parallels would have released this as an update? Bet you it would be in v.4 and you would have had to BUY it...

You can run parallels from your bootcamp partition. This feature first in parallels before it appear in VMware, i find it is rock solid in parallels and quite flaky in VMware but the recent updates to RC1 have helped sort this out.

This feature in Parallels is really good, everything works perfect. It is of good use for me!
