Greetings. I am sending my first post here ever. I have had a 5S (silver) for 3 years and have loved it but it is time to upgrade as the battery is dying quickly, etc. I went to buy a 7 yesterday. Question #1= I was torn between silver and "pink" rose gold. I decided to go for the rose gold and when they unwrapped the new phone to turn it on it was distinctly a different shade than the ones in the store compared side by side the ones in the store were decidedly more pink than the copper that came out of the box. Are there different shipments with different colors or do the colors change with cleaning or over time? I preferred the pinker look and was disappointed. They even opened up another box and it was also more copper colored.
Question #2...Are people seeming to get used to the larger size of the 6 and 7 vs. the 5? And does anyone know if they will continue to develop the SE version and keep the small size? It irritates my hand with it's narrowed edges and bigger body so I may return it and get the SE even though there are more tech. advantages. Thank you if you know anything about the variability of color, if that changes and thoughts on size.

About question 1: the shade of rose gold is the same as the 6s, maybe a little darker, but the shading depends on the light you are seeing it on, on an apple store full of white light it will look more bright, but on sunlight and warmer lights it will look like a darker pink/copper color :D

About question 2: truth is that nobody knows, because only apple decide if they will bring a successor of the SE, what i can tell you is that probably you will get used to use a bigger phone in some months, and if you go back to a smaller phone (like the SE) you will miss the big screen (my experience).

Hello! Thanks for your reply. One observation I have made is that in comparing my new phone with the ones that are in two stores in town they are all more pink than mine which has more orange, copper and is more tan in tone. Straight out of the box when we set it up we were all surprised. It was certainly more copper and less pink. The people that were working in the store all agreed. So is there a lot of color variance in different shipments or what could be the reason for this?
