There´s a new ssd from Photofast in 1.8 Zif "V3"for our Air Rev.A, could this be the one that solve our nightmares????

It appears to be as fast as the Mtron and others that doesn´t work, it use an indilix controller. If this works, and speedy as the specs said, it could be a good choice. Read and Write 100MB/s (PATA) Max. Sequential (probably not more than 79 as always.... but that´s 3 times better than my crappy samsung hd....)

As we see on the forum the V1 and V2 appears to work(a bit slow around 26 MB/s) . Does anyone try the V3?

Looks promising.
How do you know there's an indilinx (barefoot?) controller in it?
The new G-Monster V3 SSD is available with three different interfaces of connection 40-pin ZIF, 44-pin IDE or 50-pin IDE connectors.
Be careful to get the 40pin ZIF version.

It appears to be based on the mix INDILNIX/ELPIDA controllers

This SSD, G-Monster 1.8 IDE V3 (PF18Z32GSSDIDEV3), employs Indilinx IDX110M00-LC (Barefoot) as controller, Elpida S51321CBH-6DTT-F as DRAM cache (64MB), SunplusIT SATALink SPIF223A-HF022 as PATA to SATA bridge and Samsung K9LBG08U0M as MLC NAND flash (4GB x8 =32GB).

The same it´s applicable to the 1.8 ZIF modell

This link it´s a view of the same model for IDE interface.
