Hi all,

I see amazon cut the prices and was wondering if it’s worth upgrading from 1st gen

are they coming out with a new model this year?

thank you and stay safe

and how do you like them?

Well long story short, I actually upgraded to AirPods Pro but the left one kept making slicing noises and I just didn't like the awkward removal process from the case. So I returned them and purchased 2nd gen, which I love because of the design form factor. All I really wanted was longer battery life and connectivity speeds.

Thanks for the reply.

Where did you purchase it from? I’m nervous about the seal fitting in my ear

Ok, you can do whatever you want, but this is a lame reason to return them.

The noises you were hearing would’ve been a hardware flaw with that AirPod.

You’ve now downgraded in a big way, because you didn’t work out how to remove them from the case??
