I was experiencing all of the known issues between my '11 Mac Mini and '12 MacBook Air.
Downloading the new seed now, hopefully this fixes the problems + makes Safari snappier.

None of those problems showing up on '11 iMac, '09 iMac or '12 rMBP.

What will they improve about AirPlay? I'd like it to stream 24 bit audio, that's about it. And maybe reduce the 1,9 sec. lag a bit.

I have now 10.8.2, and strangely, the shutdown time for me reduced to almost the same time as were on Lion, after I installed itunes 11. But it still could be better...

Wow. I've been using Mac systems since OS 8, and have loved every OS X up to 10.6. I forget who Apple brought on to head 10.7 and 10.8, but I have never seen OS X so poorly done in my ~15 years of IT engineering. Moving OS X to annual release cycles can't be helping. 10.8.3 is working ok for me, but it still has a long way to go to reach 10.6.x standards.

Anyone know who the head os OS X was until 10.7?

Bertrand Serlet I guess...
