New problem iphone constantly rebooting w/ itunes

If I plug my iphone (2g / 2.2.1) in my MBP and then I launch itunes the iphone try to reboot constantly. If I disconnect the iphone while rebooting the screen became all white with horizontal stripes.
This doesn't happen if itunes is already open.
Any idea?
