If you had an unlocked iPhone and upgraded to 1.1.3, you are screwed. Plain and simple...

Your phone is no longer jailbroken as a result of your decision to upgrade to 1.1.3.

No method of jailbreaking 1.1.3 is publicly available yet, nor is there any way back from 1.1.3, so for the moment you're stuffed I'm afraid.

if u can find a way to downgrade it back to 1.1.1 you can unlock it but i dont know of a way so right now you are stuck shouldnt have upgraded..

I feel that this is just symptomatic of those people that attempt things without the appropriate knowledge

either

a) Don't be a cheapskate
b) At least read up on how the whole thing works

If you don't want to sign up to a contract, which I can fully understand, you will just have to be patient.

A 1.1.3 Jailbreak has been developed but is unlikely to be released for a few weeks (probably after the SDK release) to avoid Apple plugging the hole with that imminent release.

Hang in there and use an alternative phone in the meantime.

i couldn't agree more, i don't think getting yourself in this kind of situation deserves any sympathy from other people here. it's your own ignorance and impatience that did it.

Let's hope that you never make a mistake and try to get help then.

I don't think the OP is looking for sympathy. He is asking if anyone knows a solution to his problem. :)
