new problems with youtube, 1.1.4

i have successfully fixed youtube on my 1.1.4 updated iphone after using ziphone before... its an older phone that i updated along the way.

im trying to do it again now on my fiancee's new iphone (purchased last week) and none of the packages ive found on installer for youtube fix are working.

on this new phone we have openssh and bsd subsystem. some other programs (nes, smbprefs, chess, sketches and a facebook shortcut)

what can i do to fix youtube? is there an updated 1.1.4 fix out there that works for newer phones?

i tried to restore to factory settings just to get youtube back for her but that didnt work either. it said it failed to restore.

so im pretty much at the whim of some fix from some source ive yet to find.

can anyone help?

There are now 2 fix patches for YouTube for 1.1.4, use the other if it doesn't work. Make sure you have add the source for BigBoss apps in installer (sleepers.net/iphonerepo) and go to "Tweaks 1.1.4" section.

They did on my phone purchased in December and upgraded to 1.1.4

But not on this new one. My lady is pissed haha

yeah that was my first instinct too but for whatever reason it won't let me restore her phone. It gives me a pop up in iTunes with a red stop sign that says this phone cannot be restored

Anyone have any good ideas on how to fix this problem?

u shuld manually restore ur iphone by holding the top and home button until the iphone turns off than when u see the apple logo appear just let go of the top and keep holdin the bottom button and itl manually restore

100% youtube fix for iphone

My you tube wasnt warking too so I found this metod and it works 100% . If u jailbroke it . You have to reset from iTunes and start again. I used Ziphone 3.0. The problem was that I clicked on Jailbrake+Activate then After that Youtube Wasnt Warking , So now I only Jailbroke and thats it evrything is working , Firtst rese thru Itunes then only Jailbrake then have the youtube , its that simple.

Guys, please stop suggesting the same thing over and over, it doesn't let me restore her phone to factory settings. If you have new suggestions please help but take the time to read the post instead of suggesting stuff I've already said I've done, and that everyone else before you also said (without having read the post either)

I think apple put something in newer iPhones to keep em from restoring if you have jailbroken them


I've been able to restore my older iPhone but this newer one won't let.
