I was thinking about ordering a Macbook, but i was wondering if there is to be any new processor upgrades soon?

Well for now I think the safe money is getting the 8-core Mac Pro at the June event... check out this thread for more. Despite the title it's still pretty active.
You can always find reasons for not buying now. If you need it now, buy it! If not, wait. There will always be future upgrades.
Don't think there are any CPU upgrades available for Apple to use in a new MacBook until the Santa Rosa platform comes out. A few months to go at least.
thanks for the replies, i think i will go for the core 2 duo 2ghz macbook, does anyone have the black macbook if they do is there any major design layouts to the actual case?

If you look, on average, the MacBook line is refreshed every 204 days, or every 7 months. We had a new MacBook release 3 months ago (100 days), so... probably nothing until May at the earliest. So, if you need it, buy it, if not, wait. But no, speaking on average, we're not really close to an upgrade right now.
But who knows. We could get a new MacBook tomorrow, or we may not get one until 2008 (neither of which are very likely).
