Looks like Sony have finally decided to put some flash memory into their PSP. The new model called PSP Go is set for announcement next week and it comes with 16GB internal storage.
I love my original PSP because it has a 16:9 screen. For some reason this is a rarity in the portable video player market. Apple sells 16:9 content on the iTunes store but has never shipped a true "widescreen" iPod. The old PSP wasn't really up to the task of being a video playback device because of its weight and lack of storage. This new model looks to have solved that though.
It plays games downloaded from the PlayStation Store, and remember from there you can also get TV Shows and movies just like on iTunes. It has a web browser and those in Europe who own a PlayStation 3 and PlayTV can also stream live TV to it.
