These are pretty fair indeed.

The 575 interests me the most at this point - it beats the M395X, has the same 4 gig of memory, but I'm fairly certain it doesn't come with the 135W tdp, but more likely well below 100W.

The 580 is likely in the 100W range as well (Polaris MXM card specs had around 100W earlier for 480). I believe this will be excellent for the iMac from the thermal point of view.

I wish there were full specs available somewhere to confirm.

(I'm likely ordering the middle model with SSD. A 65W processor + the new 575 GPU is - I bet - noise/heat reduction sweetspot for those who are not full-time power users) :)

How do these figures translate into predicted performance? For example, how much difference does the extra 0.9 tflops and extra 4 processors of the 575 make over the 570? If the iMac was used for gaming, would an extra tflop and extra processors make a considerable difference or just a slight difference?

Well as for predicted performance we are going to have to wait about week or two for sites to start posting their observations. I kept finding conflicting information on the 575 that I didn't bother adding columns for memory and gpu speeds.

the key element I wanted to point is the severe drop the 21 models have

i wonder if the 580 will have the same issues with heat like M295X had
