Ripit just updated a few nights ago and I saw now a setting for ATV2. Should I use this setting to compress or keep using High Quality MV4? Which will give me a better picture?
Thanks

I've found the picture quality to be about the same to my old eyes, but the audio quality to be better in the ATV2 settings.

You do realize that Ripit just passes the presets to the Handbrake CLI and isn't really controlling the output in Compress mode right? You can simply use Handbrake to encode using the various preset choices and then decide for yourself which you like then change the Ripit preset to make it a 1 click rip. .

Thanks, I'm going to try ATV2 setting. I just hate wasting time trying stuff out that wastes to much time.

I just downloaded RipIt to convert movies to watch on my iPad 3 and would like to know which settings to choose as well. It's currently ripping a movie, and I've set the video target to High Quality MP4 but do you recommend Apple TV 2, do you notice any difference from HQ MP4?

I've tried both settings and i stuck with high quality MP4, although I didn't see much of a difference
