Hey guys,
Just got a new student plan from Rogers and thought I'd give the heads up to any other students out there.

Here's the smartphone plan:

200 daytime minutes
UL evenings/weekends @ 6pm
My10 Canada wide
500 MB data
---------------
$50

For another $5, you can double your data, so:

200 daytime minutes
UL evenings/weekends @ 6pm
My10 Canada wide
1 gig data (500 MB doubled)
---------------
$55

Just a heads up if anyone is interested.

I got a sligtly better student plan:

150+150 daytime minutes
UL evenings/weekends @ 5pm
My10 Canada wide
500 MB data
I believe it comes with unlimited incoming local calls (need to double check)
---------------
$45+other fees (monthly)

Hmm ... that's pretty decent. You just called up and asked them to put you on this?

Yep I asked for 45$ student plan for iphone, if you are calling, would you mind asking if it includes the incoming calls? and whether if there are any extra perks (i.e. double data for 5$ or discounts on value packs that include visual voicemail?) That would be really helpful (let me know if you are asking)

Well .. I'm on fido, and would be just calling to see if there's a comparable package.

Doesn't your bill say what services you have?

alright i called and asked

it does not include the incoming calls, but you can get 500mb extra data for 5$

personally i find 500megs enough, because most of the time i have wifi at home and school
