I've started having a minor issue that's driving me nuts.

In Safari when I hit the + to open a new tab the search box isn't active. Typical, and forever previously, opening a new tab will activate the cursor and I can immediately type my search or web address. Of course it's so ingrained in my brain to do this I happily type away to look up and see noting in the beach box. I then have to activate the search box with a mouse click.

Could any please help me before I go maaaaad :/

Try quitting Safari and relaunching it.
If that doesn't work, log out and back in.
If that doesn't work, restart.
