Hey guys,
Sorry to make another camera thread, but I think this is worthy of its own debate.

Though obviously not the incredible feature of the iPhone 11, it seems the new SE may have a very rudimentary form of night mode. Here's my reasoning:
  • Photos taken in very low light have much better visibility than the viewfinder displays.
  • This seems to be due to an automatic switch to a long-exposure mode. You can see this reflected in the GUI with a slight fade-in after pressing the shutter button, followed by the actual camera snap. A lot like the iPhone 11 does.
What are your thoughts? Do older phones also do this? See some comparisons below between the viewfinder and the photo taken.
Obviously the photos are noisy and suck, but at least you can see something.

They look like any other phone lacking the ability to shoot with actual night mode... Added software and the A13 might try to help the situation but as you can see, the results are not good
