iPod New Shuffle is 16 dollars more then a pair of apple earbuds!

Its 39 for some earbuds and 55 dollars for an iPod Shuffle

I just broke my earbuds...now im going to pick up a red shuffle...for 16 bucks more...you cant go wrong

this is sad..the earbuds should be 19.99 not 39

For the quality of the buds I agree, they're overpriced.

Why don't you just buy some nicer buds or IEMs?

Actually you can go wrong, if you are buying it to use the headphones with another iPod, don't forget that the ones that come with the shuffle are a fair bit shorter. Short enough that I can't look up if my iPod nano is in my front jeans pocket if I use the shuffle's included headphones.

That's what I was going to say. The shuffle earbuds are really only suitable for the shuffle, imo.

hmm i didnt know that. i thought that all ipod headphones were standardized and the same.. thats not cool that they would give you shorter earbuds . i guess apple just wants to steal more of our money

take your broken iPod headphones to an apple store and they'll replace them for free...at least that's what they do at mine.

With the shuffle, the shorter headphones make sense and are actually a good thing in my opinion.

$55 is too much. I have seen the 1gb Shuffle at $49 and the 2gb Shuffle for $69.
