I think the OP meant Skylake....What is Silverlake?

Actually the only way I've found to edit a post title is to open the original post and then mouse over the little "gear" icon at the upper right. This will give you a menu item for Thread tools.OP, you can correct the name in your opening post by hitting edit and more options, or advanced options.
I used to live in Silverlake so I kind of get a kick out of it but most people will be confused, I think.
Almost all of the current crop of machines with exception of the Mac mini (and I think retina MacBook) will drive a 4K display at 60Hz. The issue is not connectors but the capability of the integrated graphics, which in the case of the Mac mini are from (barely) 2014 and designed for the low-end market. Why is it so hard to get anything apple oem to connect to my 4k TV at 4k 60hz. It is really bugging me. Especially with my incoming 6s+
It has both. Under the hdmi section, they have DP resolutions and refresh....which brings an interesting point. Apple's site only quotes resolutions and refresh rates (we're still using "refresh rates" now that we got rid of CRTs?) over HDMI, not DisplayPort. I wonder why that is?
