New Siri Voice in the UK?

Has anyone outside America (specifically in the UK) been able to get the new Siri voice? Is it even available outside the US?

Unfortunately Apple Support don't know the answer.

I can’t get Siri to speak often at all via SE +Ipprop 10.5

Currently running ios11.01.

Siri American voice which I like though wish she could talk more often.

What is the ‘new’ siri voice

Just heard Siri -‘not sure what you said’ -though after I tapped siri icon multiple times and a few beeps,

Yes I did get it. I only tried using Siri for a day before disabling it again but I was able to get the improved UK male voice working on an iP8+. I live in France btw.

Is there any advice to get siri to talk more often.

Very intermittent if at all.

Good to know the new voice is available outside the US. I'll just wait and see if it downloads when it's plugged in and on Wifi.

I only really use Siri in the car and havent had need to since updating but did see in the settings there was an option for UK Male voice which when selected downloaded what was required.
