Today I proudly unveiled the redesigned System 7 Today. Any thoughts or opinions? It should look eerily familiar, although I did not copy anything directly from the origin of my inspiration.

Obviously the "site under construction" notice at the top isn't part of the design. I just switched the DNS settings for the site, so if you don't see that notice, it hasn't updated for your area yet, and you are still looking at the old site. The new site says "whoa" in big letters.

As a fun side-note, the entire site (except the forums and downloads) is hosted on Mac OS 7.

Forum pages fonts

Looks cool. Fonts on Forum pages looks odd, and seems like whole bunch of class definitions (for things like class="forumlink") are missing? forgotten CSS files maybe?

Acutally they're relics of the CSS that used to be there and I removed. Since the site is about System 7, I was attempting to create an entirely CSS-free forum (such a rarity these days).

Was trying to fit a forum into the theme of the rest of the site (and Apple's 1997 - 1999 era site style).

Don't mean to gloat, but I'm really proud of this image I just created:

So, I guess, I really did mean to gloat. :D

Is your site even legal? I see copyright infringements all over the place!!

Oh, and by the way... you should have someone go through the site and proof it. I spotted a few typos and wasn't even looking for them.

Ya, it probably isn't. Lots of sites arent though, only the super popular ones seem to get any attention. I'm sure a site about Mac OS 7 won't. I'm not too worried about it. Why, are you planning on reporting it?

I type fast but alas very inaccurately and Dreamweaver doesn't automatically tell you where typos are. Stupid Dreamweaver.
