New SMS App

I did a search and found only one reference to this in iPhone thread so I am putting it in here because it can only be used on Jailbroken iPhones. So don't be cross woth me Mods. I figure a lot of people are hanging out for this App.

I have just recently downloaded through Cydia a new SMS App "iRealSMS"
In fact I have actually paid for it now.
All the features missing in the Apple App are there.
Inbox
Drafts
Templates
Outbox
Sent
Forwarding etc etc

Unfortunately only for those with a Jailbreak on their iPhone.

To be honest the first download was a piece of **** but they upgraded this morning (not to the professional) and it's working like a dream.
I have already made a couple of templates, saved a couple in drafts and forwarded a couple of SMS's

Nothing is bug free on first releaes though is it.

Any way what the hell is a "Professional SMS" program ?

I'm not particularly hanging out for that. Just glad to have the nromal SMS functions of a mobile phon on my iPhone.
 
LANDSCAPE TEXTING!

I really love BiteSMS and I don't need much of the templates and such.
 
Is there anyway to have the app arrange the texts in conversations like the iphone does? Can you have it show your contacts name instead of just the number?
 
I wonder why developers haven't made a decent SMS app for the App Store? Technical reasons? Business reasons (i.e. Apple wouldn't let them)?

I dunno, I think apple should add it. Its really way to easy, I wonder what there thoughts are right now.
 
Pardon my ignorance

Do messages sent from this app count against the number of text messages in you plan? i.e. - I have the "200 text messages plan". Would messages sent and received via iRealSMS count against that plan or do they work via the data plan. Pardon my ignorance of this subject.:eek:

which iphone are you guys using and what firmware ?:confused:is it unlocked, jailbroken oor both?
