Hello all,

Hopefully that title is a good description, here's whats going on as a new user to the iOS ecosystem. When I initially signed in and got my iPhone X setup, it synced and showed all of my previous purchases up to that point with what I've bought in iTunes up to then. Since getting the phone I've made a couple more purchases via my PC, but they aren't appearing on my phone at all under the Recently Added. They show and play just fine from my PC, but something is missing here. Also - I've never synced my phone to my PC and it is setup completely independently from my computer.

If anyone has any information with how this works or any advice on settings, as I would expect purchases to simply show up automatically on my phone (but not be downloaded) and be able to stream them from my phone as I can do on my PC.

Thanks!

Try to log out your account and log in again on the iTunes app on your iPhone. It works for me when that happens!

I'm on iOS 10.3.3, though.

It did seem to work but here's my question - next time I buy music on my PC with iTunes, will I need to sign out/sign in again on my iPhone or does it seem to correct itself for a while?

Anyways - doing that as I mentioned seems to have refreshed on my phone I'm mostly just wondering about this going into the future because if it doesn't take care of it, seems more like a workaround than an actual fix. Appreciate it though!

It's completely random in my case! Sometimes it happens but not always. Most of the time when I purchase something on iTunes it's automatically on my iPhone library. ;) I wouldn't worry too much!

Unfortunately a couple days later I bought two more albums, and only one showed up on my phone :( So it seems to have come back and not long after it was working too. I still wonder if something else is amiss here, or maybe that it's a problem that will be fixed in iOS 12.
