new SSD in my old 5yr mac

I agree! I put an SSD into my old white MacBook and it made a world of a difference. Everything just seems so much snappier!
I have a E2008 white macbook (the last one before plastic unibody).
I upgraded the factory HD to WD blue, then WD black, then a (used) SSD.
Each time I saw great gains, largest was going to WD black, and then to SSD.
I have I think a Sandisk. It's 40GB
