Here's a list I've compiled of technologies to expect this year.

Snapdragon 810, A57, this is stock A57, Qualcomm didn't have time for custom cores.
Exynos 7420, A57.

All SoCs, even low end = 64-bit.
Snapdragon 410 will be a very attractive SoC for budget phones, such as Motorola Moto G.

Chinese Beidou and European Galileo GNSS support.

BCM4773 GNSS chip is rumoured to be in Galaxy S6. Will support all four major constellations (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo). Combines all radios GNSS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on one chip. 80% reduction in power consumption!!!

4G will be standard for most phones.

4GB RAM DDR4 for high end phones.
802.11ac MU-MIMO, ad support.
eMMC 5.0 storage.
H.265 encoder and decoder.
USB Type-C port, even if it's USB 2.0, the port will most likely be implemented.

If I left something exciting out, please add.

It's not new, but I hope they stop making anything under 32GB of built in storage. I also hope companies continue putting SD slots in devices.

I want to expect a 2gb ram on 6s and a try to make the phone more appealing like a new button. I except the retina mac book pro to get an upgrade to the latest NVIDA graphics because having a 2 yr old graphics card on a 2015 laptop isnt fun
