New Timbuk2 case for MBA: The Steve Sleeve

It looks pretty good, but the real news will come when someone gets one in their hands and posts a review. I thought you had one when I clicked this thread...

Timbuk2 makes awesome products. I got the Hacker backpack for my MBA and I love it.
I know there is a comparable product in the market, but it doesn't look anywhere near as sweet as this one. The materials and build quality look awesome. (As one would expect from Timbuk2.)

I really don't get the point of these. Sure it's sorta cool considering the MacWorld showing, however, if you really are in need to transport your Air...what about your power adapter and other items? I usually need at bare minimal my power adapter.

It's for people that want to use their non-laptop bag. You put the laptop in the sleeve and throw it in any bag you'd like.

Just picked up the Timbuk2 'Steve Sleeve' at Tekserve in NYC.
Seems like they are the sole retailer stocking this (the Timbuk2 website still gives a shipping date of July). Very much a sleeve (no padding/protection), snug fit - priced a little steep at $49 - but has a "must touch"/"must have" quality (gets me every time...). Sold packaged in an 'interdepartmental envelope' - which they encourage you to use/re-use (as with the website - the sleeve is marketed as a 'green' product).
