Hi.
I am thinking of getting the 17" macbook pro laptop after leopard is released. I am new to apple so don't know how everything works. I want this one for word documents photo editing watching movies on internet and checking email account etc... Anyway my questions are; what screen do you think i should get? like shall i get hi-def glossy screen or any other please can you also tell me the difference? Then with the internet considering i will be using it quite alot. My trouble is that my desktop is XP and obviously i will need to buy a wireless router to use around the house and on the go. Please could you explain how this works and what is airport extreme? then finally will i be able to use the same printer wirelessly which i use for microsoft desktop? instead of buying a new one to save money. Why hasn't apple released their own printers? I don't get that! Thank you for your answers in advance. :)

If you're getting the 17" MBP definitely go for the Hi-Res screen as it'll only cost you a small amount more and you'll end up with another half a million pixels to play with!

As for glossy or matte, the one I've ordered is glossy but that's personal preference. Check it out in store before you take the plunge. :D
