Just checking that if I have synced some TV episodes to the ATV that if I deleted them from my MBP that they will remain on the ATV?

I got the 140GB ATV so got some room to move stuff to it and open some on my MBP. Just making sure that if I delete them from the MBP they will remain on the ATV and not be deleted also.

Thank you!

"sync" short for "synchronised".

i.e. The media on your MBP is synchronised with the AppleTV, the same as on an iPod.

Think of the ATV disk as a cache rather than a store, it allows you to view that media when the host computer is off, or view it without an initial few seconds of buffering if the host computer is on.

Personally I set up some smart playlists and sync media to the ATV based on those playlists, the contents of which are a combination of recent and most played.
