Hi, new here to posting, but long time lurker
This father's day I was wanting to purchase my father an
TV. He is passionate about showing off his photos to family and friends and I had a couple questions concerning the "photo" portion of ATV. This will help clarify some contradicting advice.
He runs an iMac 2.16 intel duo, Leopard 10.5.7 , and he uses iPhoto. Uses a Airport express "g" network.
1) Do you have to sync your photos to your ATV? Or can you stream them? Do you lose quality of photos while streaming in stead of syncing?
2) Where on your mac does the ATV look for the photos? Through iTunes or iPhoto? Can you set up custom slide shows on your Mac and them show them off on your ATV?
3) Can you connect to a Mobile Me photo account with the ATV?
4) For the streaming music on iTunes... can you play playlists that are setup in iTunes?
I think that is pretty much it. Thanks for all the help.
