Hi Guys,

I have read through some threads and seen what sort of games you guys play and that is awesome however I was a PC man for nearly 20 years and I seen the light and came to Mac's and lets just say I love it.

however with games like Dragon Age 2 and stuff that you all play do you use the windows version and use Vmfusion or is there Mac versions you guys play ??

or how do you play them etc.

sorry if I sound dumb it's probably cause I'am

thanks.

Depends on the game. Dragon Age II is a hybrid disk so it will run on both. Windows will always give you better performance, though. VMs such as Parallels and Fusion will usually give you poor performance or not work at all, so it's best just to bootcamp for Windows games. What games are you thinking of playing?

I run mostly official Mac versions if they are available and run decently... or I use Wineskin ports... worst case I might run something simple through Win7 in VMWare... I don't install Windows natively... If I cannot get it running in OSX, then I simply don't play it.

If the game is available for Mac, I always use the Mac version because I don't like restarting just to play a game. However, if the game is only on Windows I play it through Bootcamp. Most games will run on a virtual machine, but the performance is usually much worse than Bootcamp.
