I’m making a music video in iMovie. It’s all one shot, but I’ve been taking three second portions of it to draw animations over it in procreate. I want to edit the portions of the video I animated back into the original video, and have it not look like it was edited in. Can anyone tell me how I could do that?

With your original video in iMovie's Timeline, split the video where you want to insert the edited clip, insert said clip, then adjust the video clips on each side of the inserted clips until you can't see the join.
