Ok, so I just got my new iPhone 3GS. Haven't opened it yet. Probably won't have time till tomorrow. Itching to do it though:-( Must resist, but resistance may be futile.
Meanwhile, just wanting to ask for tips for a user new to iPhone. I know this is a huge and broad topic, so I can narrow it down to this...I was a blackberry user, and now am sick of it, but am wanting to find out:
1. Care of battery...1 full drain/charge cycle first before using it regularly?
2. Must have applications
3. Resetting and restarting the iPhone..ok, what is the difference except one you hold the home button to do it, the other you don't. Does one clear all processes and the other does not, much like BB devices, where if you want a nice clean restart, you do a battery pull?
4. Experienced configs to optimise iPhone performance...yes, there are plenty around the forum RE to optimise battery life, turn off 3G, but I'm asking about tips in maintaining peak performance. I use to have a Windows Mobile, and it slowed down in just a month. Daily restarts/resets? Restart/reset after apps installs?
5. Any other useful tips
Thanks. And may have more noob questions later.
