Hi - first post on these forums and new to iTunes. Got my Nano today and currently in the process of loading all of my music onto it - question: Is there a way to get rid of the 'gaps' inbetween tracks? i.e. if you have a mixed album can you get it to sound the same on your iPod instead of having the two-second gap between songs? Sorry if this has been asked before, but as I said, I'm new!! Thanks a lot in advance for your help guys. :D

Currently ( we have no idea why ) the iPod does not support "gapless" playback, but it should not take 2 seconds to transition either.

Wow, didn't realise that.....that's a shame. Any ideas if it is planned for any future releases of iTunes?

Are you saying that you want your playlist to continue from one song to the next without a gap? I don't think it is possible.

Yes - for tracks like a mixed dance album where there would be no pause between the songs. Quite disappointed that this is not supported actually! :(

Are you trying to mix two songs into one using iTunes? May I ask?

I just couldn't appreciate the beauty of listening to continuos gap-less playbacks.

No not me personally, there are certain albums that move from one song to another with no gap, and the albums have been put together to sound good like that - for e.g. 50 Cent's first album uses no gaps and it sounds odd to hear a gap when listening on my iPod if that makes sense.
