Hello - I recently paid off my 11 Pro Max (was on ATT Next) and would like to trade it in and switch to the IUP.

I have been pre approved for a 256 Pro Max at $58.xx a month, which i believe is the price prior to any trade in adjustments. During the pre approval steps for the 13 pro max, they asked me nothing about my trade in.. anyone know whether they will ask me whether i would like to trade in a device when i finalize my order on friday? its all very confusing....

From what I understand, you can’t trade in towards the iPhone Upgrade Program. You can only trade in towards a normal or an Apple Card monthly payment plan purchase.

Correct. You can only trade in a phone towards the Upgrade Program that was purchased via the Upgrade program, not a phone that was purchased through any other method. However I think you can trade in your phone for Apple gift cards.

You can't trade in an iPhone when starting a new Upgrade contract. Since it's paid off, sell it on someplace like Swappa or OfferUp.
