I just bought a Mac Mini MC438LL/A with Snow Leopard Server, should I keep SL server on it or move up to Mountain Lion 10.8.3 ? I plan to use as a media server for streaming by iTunes or Plex.. Also in the future I may setup a web site..

Many seem to regard Snow Leopard as Apple's best OS. My guess is that it would adequately serve your purposes, so why change.

For me, Snow Leopard certainly addressed the deficiencies that I noticed in Leopard, which came installed on my early 2009 Mini...... and that was a useful step up from my first, the original 2005 model.

I didn't bother with Lion, but did make the upgrade to Mountain Lion, which has a few features are useful to me. The dictionary is better, and it bought auto-save to Pages, to name a couple. Overall though, in use I don't find it the big step forward that came with Snow Leopard; I could take it or leave it for my purposes.

Snow Leopard Server

right now I think I will keep the SL server..

Well I have the Mac Mini up and running, but this 20 in HP monitor sure is small compared to the 24 in Imac I have.
