Hey, hope this isn't too silly a question.. I installed msn messenger for mac, but whenever i open it the white disk box thing pops up on the desktop and it doesn't let me trash it while msn is open, only lets me "eject" it once i close msn. Is this normal, does this thing have to popup every time, and if so can i make it go away by itself when i close msn. I'm on tiger by the way..

To install properly: Open the white box, drag the MSN app inside it to the Applications folder, drag the white box and dmg file to the trash

I recommend using Adium over Microsoft's product

ahhh, brilliant thanks!

considering i just use msn, i thought adium would be overkill.. should i still go with adium?

Adium is MUCH better, personally I use this skin, but there are plenty. MSN often has problems with updates etc.

There is also Mercury if you want video :)

To uninstall MSN, just drag it to the trash from the Applications folder (not while its open)
