I'm want to buy a Mac to replace my huge thinkpad and have an ocz vertex2 2.5" ssd that I'd like ti repurpose. Is this possible?
I'm skeptical because of apples closed OS and unibody shell design. Even if I could open and replace the drive which I'm comfortable doing I terms of tinkering and taking things apart would it even perform or work compared to whatever custom firmware the Oem drives use?
I just loath paying $250 for the 128gb SSD upgrade option when I already have this drive handy.
