New to MacKiev's The Print Shop

Hello all. This is my first time posting a question and I'm sure there is a simple answer to this one.

I am designing my first brochure (text intensive) using The Print Shop after giving up on InDesign which is too complex for my needs.

When my text takes up more than one page I get the "hidden text indication" (grey arrows) but the text doesn't automatically flow on to a second page when it exceeds the size of the text box as MS Word might do.

When I do a Print Preview the text only shows on page one.

How do I format multiple pages of text? Surely I don't have to open a new page for each page?

Any help will be appreciated.

I have never heard of the software you mentioned. My suggestion would be to learn InDesign or QuarkXpress. These are the standard programs used by the print industry. If you are going to be designing brochures and pamphlets, you need a program that will create files supported by the print industry.

Nooooo... InDesign is so much better. At least, if you've ever used an Adobe product before.

InDesign or Quark are the industry standards, and you'd really be better off using one of them if you're doing real design/page layout work.

I have no idea how The Print Shop works, but can you click on the text overflow indicator and then click on the next page to create a continued text box? (my description of that might be funky, but that's one way you can do things in InDesign, so this other program might operate similarly)
