I just got my iMac 2 weeks ago today, and it's fantastic.

I've always loved Mac OS X aesthetically, and we use them in school for video editing with Final Cut Pro so I loved that, but I never got to explore it as much as I have in the past 14 days.
I've basically come to the conclusion that I love every little bit of it.

Every feature, functionality, how easy it is to get most things to work... It's just spectacular.

And this seems to be the forum I come to most frequently from google searches when looking for things, so I decided to try and be a part of the community.

I hope I stick around, because I rarely do.

It's not that I think you would do anything in there. It just that it's the most hostile Forum on MacRumors imo.

Again welcome, glad your enjoying your new iMac. :)

Yeah I know, I got that :p

Thanks

OS X beats the heck out of Windows IMO, good choice !

Yeah it does =]
Although I love gaming, so I do have an XP Bootcamp installation.
But in every situation other than gaming, OS X couldn't be better.

Thanks =]

Welcome to the dark side! :D

Huh, did you mean Light side? :cool:

I have an iPhone and love this site. I visit the iPhone forums all the time and I have to admit that they are the most hostile - sometimes I'm scared of posting there for the fear of being lambasted by someone who thinks they know it all!
Anyway rant over - enjoy your new iMac - I'm getting one as soon as the back to school promo starts here in the UK (if it ever does!).
