New trick in weather app

We all know that when in weather, if you slide your finger over it will transition into the next city. Well if you tap the screen with another finger while you are sliding over, it will freeze the screen in place, even if you are in between two cities!

This is probably just a b-product of using core-animation for the city-scrolling in the weather widget. you can do the same thing when scrolling to music or contact lists, or reading web pages or e-mail: if something is scrolling and you want to stop it, you tap, just like you're stopping a physically-rolling object, and the scrolling stops.
