Finally Apple has included real nice tweeded USB-C to Lightning cables with Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse. The new cables are white and of the same quality as the tweeded cable included with HomePod Mini - except the new cable is wearable. The cable is 1 meter, just as the ones in plastic sold separately.

I love the new cable and will use it to charge more than my Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse, i.e. in my car and at home charging my MagSafe battery.

They are pretty cool looking. I have to have an adapter to plug into my keyboard drawer's USB hub. Wish I knew who manufactured this so I can see if they make one compatible with USB-C. It's a black power outlet with 2 power outlets, RJ11 jack, RJ45 jack, USB-A and a USB-B port. Made by Haverty's if anyone knows how to get replacement parts for them.

At any rate I digress... I love the new keyboard. It feels different than the original Magic Keyboard. The trackpad also feels slightly different.

Just had my new Trackpad to stop working. Had to turn off and back on to reestablish the connection. Hopefully this won't become a problem.
