I have recently noticed that updates to any of my apps are not showing up as being available. This is occurring both when accessing the store through my ipod touch or through my computer. Ive now downloaded 4 apps manually just by randomly checking their version numbers against the copies i own.

anyone else getting this?

Depends how soon the updates are coming out before you are manually checking them.

Yes updates come through a little slow. Couple hours at most. So I have done it manually when I hear about updates are out but haven't come through yet.

But I get all my updates on my comp perfectly fine. (I think :p)

I was just about to post a topic about this, I'm getting it too.

I'm used to getting at least one or two updates every few days, yet for the last two weeks my iPod has constantly told me that all my apps are up to date. So I finally got tired of it and logged into iTunes on my computer to find that I had 9 updates waiting for me.

this is what prompted me to check on my computer and compare actual version numbers....the only difference is, mine dont show up on my computer itunes account either. if i go the app page and try to buy it again, it will, however, tell me that i have a previous version to this update is free, blah blah blah....

and as far as i can tell, these apps have been updates for several weeks...

Same thing has been happening to me for the past 2-3 weeks. I think ever since iTunes 8.1, but I'm not sure. Both my iPhone and iTunes says that my Apps are up-to-date, and they're not. I was going to post a thread about this once I got a chance.

Here's what I did:
I called up Apple and was transfered to a tech specialist. After trouble-shooting for 15 minutes or so with him, and trying many things, he came to the conclusion that there was nothing wrong with my iPhone or my iTunes account, and what I would need to do is delete my Mobile Applications file, delete all of my Apps in iTunes, and then redownload them all. PITA. I told him that I would give it a try when I had some time to do that.

I've decided that before I go ahead and do that, I'm going to make an appointment at an Apple Store and get a second opinion.
