I’m humming along using Adobe CS5.5 on my 2011 iMac 27” [with an updated SSD] on macOS 10.13.6 [High Sierra]. I know I’m running on fumes and luck, so one day somethings gonna give. I’m looking at options for a used, but newer iMac on which I can continue running CS5.5. Any suggestions since the new iMacs won’t run my CS5.5?

CS 5.5 isn't even officially supported on High Sierra. I'm not sure, but I think the last good support may have been 10.11 El Capitan.

If it suits your needs, then continue using what you have until it dies. Make sure you always have multiple backups though of course. In the meantime, try to figure out what's going to replace your CS 5.5, cuz even if you get a used machine that can run High Sierra, there is no guarantee it will install properly.
