Hi all

I juz switched over to IMac and definitely I'm giving positive remarks! :D

As I searched through the forums, I couldnt find much help on using Video Editing software IDvd, can I check if this is the most popular software to use? I tried using it for a start but it only gives me access to creating the menu and look of the DVD, but not to the extend of editing the videos.

Appreciate any assistance on this.

Thanks! :)

uh...

iDVD is for DVD creation. To edit movies in iLife you'd use iMovie.

More advance users would use Final Cut Express or Pro.

I tried with Imovie but find the theme lacking. Perhaps will try out Final Cut.

I juz tried out IPhoto too, its too Cool!

You can grab Final Cut Express at Best Buy for $169. I definitely recommend it if you want some advanced features for a low price.

yeah...

Just to warn you Final Cut Pro and Express aren't simple applications. The learning curve is pretty steep.

I would like to say thanks to the helpful replies. I managed to get on my fiurst movie making successfully, after 2 weeks of trials :D

I purchased "Final Cut Express 4" by Visual Quickstart Guide and it
really cut down the trial and error method of learning.:)
