I'm thinking they will announce a variant of the Moto X Play with that near 4000 maH battery and brand it as the new Droid Maxx or Turbo.
Remember when the Droid brand meant something? Droid would have been a great name for the Nexus line, but reality has set in and the Droid brand is just rebranded stuff. The original Moto Droid got huge brand recognition.Guess it's official.

People call the Turbo ugly but I think its quite attractive in its own way. A shame they're not available internationally.

Huh. Didn't know that. Thanks! They are or will be. The Maxx 2 is already available as the Moto X Play, and the Turbo 2 should be available soon as the Moto X Force.
What's ugly is the insanely large "chin" and bezels, along with all the sensors that clutter up the front.People call the Turbo ugly but I think its quite attractive in its own way. A shame they're not available internationally.
On the black model, I hear they're hidden pretty well. What's ugly is the insanely large "chin" and bezels, along with all the sensors that clutter up the front.

Yeah, it was just a leak from a few months ago, but it seems very legitimate.

Nice upgrade to the Turbo 2; no V logo!
