check your update, still testing it out. They said this version has lots of fixes (and return to send) as well as wifi keep alive if you're using summerboard. (Although, I don't like summerboard due to the background issue, why can't we just leave on the black bacground if we want?)

why dont you just make a black background and put it on your phone to use? Pretty simple, and would take 3 seconds.

I notice the new version of apollo doesn't have those red cirlces anymore on the homescreen when you get messages while your phone is locked or on the homescreen, did they remove it?! why!

Mine gets a red circle when i get a new IM with someone i wasnt already talking to. If someone you have been talking to messages you, you wont get it.

<mick jagger>you can't always get what you want </mick jagger> :D

that's not a very good reason. I'm sure they could implement this and many people have asked for it. (e.g., Couldn't they just not modify that portion of SpringBoard?)

I noticed it doesn't keep u idle anymore after 20mins of no use it signs u off.. i dnt like this update!

Right now there is no application preferences for Summerboard. You're going to have to wait until they implement it as a more traditional application. There are other suggestions people have mentioned along with your request so now its just a waiting game; until then please refer to Mick Jagger.
