New wallpapers are boring.

The new wallpapers introduced in iOS 9 B5 are slightly better than the ones in iOS 8. But after seeing them again and again after 2 days, they feel drab. I got bored too quickly. Some of the dark ones continue with Apple's depressive guideline introduced since iOS 8.

No new dynamic wallpapers since iOS 7.

The ocean wave wallpaper from B1 to B4 was so fresh and alive. Little gaudy, but I loved it.

Anyone else disappointed with new wallpapers? I created this thread because Apple has made aplying a simple wallpaper impossible without it getting cropped or blurred or stretched. That leaves us to only use stock ones.

I actually like the new wallpapers. They are a continuation from iOS 8 and give it a modern feel and look. While I was hoping for some new dynamic wallpapers or the ability to make customs dynamic wallpaper by adjusting the colors, the new still wallpaper is nice.

i dont like them either. they dont really flow with the app icons if you know what i mean. i prefer subtle wallpapers that flush better with the rest of the interface

The feather wallpapers are strange and unattractive. The dry paint splash ones aren't bad. I'm trying one of those now.

I'm using one of the paint splatters too. The orange flowery one is nice too.

They all kind of remind me of pre-OS X actually.

I like them a lot. They're unique and they remind me of fashion. I much prefer them to vector graphics and generic landscapes.

The purple flower one on white background makes icon text unintelligible and a lot of them don't look well with even the default app icons. Sure, you can use any graphic as your wallpaper, but you'd expect the standard ones to blend in and be a good fit for people who just don't want to fuss.

Don't use them then. Feel free to complain more about things you won't use but others will though. I'll start:

I agree. I have no use for flower or feather backgrounds and the space ones look dull.

I actually kinda like the new blue flower background on my iPhone 6, the blue and red feather wallpapers too. The gray feathers wallpaper is appalling though. The first three are pretty decent as well.

I thought that at first too but then realized he just took screenshots of each and was swiping through them in the photos app.

No, I love the new wallpapers. It's edgy, dark, grungy yet colorful. Amazing level of detail. That's how I like my wallpapers.
