I just made this blog because it is really overwhelming to keep track of all the best apps in the app store. It will give quick reviews of all the best apps (I check out each app that appears in the new app rss feed) each day and make finding good apps a lot easier.

That's a great site! Your review is really good!

Although, watch out, people are edgy about posts with personal blogs. I've had a hard time with posting my blog. But, most people on MacRumors are OK with it!

Continue with the great reviews!

You mean the one single review? The original post is pure spam... The site is lame!

I was just about the post the following question until I read this thread. So my new question is where do I find the rss feed to see which new apps are released? I think I see it on your site, I'll check it out. (great site, might be just what I needed!!)

My question (I posted on another forum)

Does anyone know of any site they lists new apps as they are released? I'd like to browse through a complete list of new new iphone apps that are sorted by release date. I could then know whats brand new by having a look once a day, or once a week etc. It's becoming a hobby to see what is out there, but the longer the list is, the more annoying it will be to scroll through all the old stuff to get to the new stuff.

The closest I know of is the AppStoreFeed (appstorefeed.com). It's not perfect, but works well enough for my purposes of browsing through what's being released when I'm away from a computer that has iTunes on it.

My suggestion: get rid of the 'stars'. Looks awful when there are 10 of them, only works for ratings out of 5.

Really? I thought the looked good

If you like them then keep them, but personally think it's not really a good effect to use them like that. You never hear, I give this film 7 stars! Not unless they're the most amateur of amateur productions.

So your saying moving to 5 stars? I just find that doesn't give enough room to judge.

There's a reason why most rating sites/companies use 'five stars' as their judge. Why do you think Apple uses only 5 stars for their App store ratings, and they would know!

If you want more room to judge, then perhaps use half stars, and still only have 5. Like Apple do.

Again, these are just suggestions, you don't have to follow them. I just think having a line of 10 stars for every review looks silly, and 10 apples would look even sillier IMO lol

I think i'll stick with it for now but might change it in the future

Lame and not very professional. No comparison against all other apps serving similar purposes. No well researched checklist against features that apps of that purpose usually include or that most customers expect. Very little objective data: size, launch time, UI lag, etc. A good experienced technical editor might help.

and a new banner. my eyes! and if the OP starts to get traffic and build a name/rep, the banner has to go anyway, as it is chock full of trademarked/copyrighted icons.
