I picked up a like new 20 inch white iMac yesterday. Made right before they switched to aluminum.

I'm very impressed with it, ESPECIALLY the screen. I like the matte better than glossy, and the colors are amazing.

I wanted a bigger screen for some photo editing, and this thing fits the bill perfectly. A great computer all around. DVD's look fantastic and even the speakers don't sound half bad.

I see no color gradient issues like some people have talked about. Top to bottom, left to right, colors and brightness are uniform.

The viewing angle is nice and wide, and since I usually sit with my back to a window, there is no glare.

Playing with my new camera.

I love the screen on this thing. And the fact that it can sit on a coffee table in my den, and there's still room for all my other clutter...

Congrats on your new mac. I guess you got a good deal since you didn't get the newer one...

Actually, I sought out the white one. For my purposes, I couldn't handle a glossy screen, and this thing will do what I need it to do, for quite a while.

How much did you pay for it, and what are the specs? (If you don't mind me asking.)

I paid nowhere near what the new ones go for, so let's just say I "did good".
:D
