I put some new work (the Portfolio and Images PDFs are revised, not the reel) on my site, comments/questions welcome. ;)

Beautiful work, Good flow of imagery with the portfolio.

Im a traditional Graphic Designer that is just starting to get into 3D Modeling/Animation although I'm not familar with Electric Image:
How does their Animation System software compare to Maya? Ive been working with Maya 6.5 for a short while... about to get 7.0 upgrade in the mail. I saw that alot of 3D typography work you do is in Electric Image as well as Maya. What are the benefits of it over using just Maya by itself?

I started with Electric Image before Maya came to the Mac. It's an easier program to use (anything is easier than Maya  ) with a very fast render but Maya has so much more to offer that I'm using it more and more these days. If you understand Maya, stay with it, I can't think of a better 3D program. Maya V7 is the best upgrade they have done.

Great work & impressive clients - what more is there to say!

Only I did want to read a little bit more about you. Maybe a bio and a picture?

I must say, you have inspired me to check out Maya and start broadening my horizons.

Very impressed.

The work is VERY impressive.
The two things that bugged me a bit:
1) that main title page that you click through to get to the portfolio page could be superfluous: I was clicking on those top words before I noticed the Enter button. You could probably skip this page, or make it more streamlined (i.e., get rid of those things on top and just have a nice, central graphic with 'Enter' intergrated into it somehow)
2) when you rollover the text in the portfolio section of your page, the effects are a bit cheesy...maybe it's just being a typographer that makes me so nitpicky about things like that, but spreading those words out...I think it could be done better.

The website is the easy thing, though...the work, as I said, is already fantastic! Much continued success to you!

Thanks rugonnaeatthat and ouphe, good points.

I got rid of my Resume because I'm positioning myself as a design studio and not a freelancer. A bio would be a good replacement.

As far as the landing page, it's lost some of it's function over time, I should rethink why it's there. Either give it more reason to be there or get rid of it.
